Mission

Theatre in the Mountains is a program of the Loma Prieta Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing educational, cultural and recreational opportunities for residents of the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.

We are dedicated to providing theatrical opportunities for children and adults throughout the year. Main stage performances are held in the Loma Prieta Community Center, which is transformed into a beautiful theatre space, complete with 20' curtains surrounding the house, risers for audience viewing, lobby, and concession areas. There is also an outdoor amphitheater that provides opportunities to do other performances in the summertime.
