Welcome to the Shining Stars Production of

The Little Mermaid!

Disney’s The Little Mermaid musical is based on the beloved 1989 animated film and the classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story follows Ariel, a young mermaid princess who dreams of living on land. Despite her father’s warnings, Ariel falls in love with a human prince named Eric. Determined to be with him, she makes a deal with Ursula, the sea witch, trading her voice for human legs.

With the help of her friends, including Flounder the fish, Sebastian the crab, and Scuttle the seagull, Ariel navigates the challenges of her new life on land. She must win Eric’s love within three days, or risk losing her soul to Ursula. The musical features memorable songs like “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and "Part of Your World".

It’s a tale of bravery, friendship, and the pursuit of one’s dreams.

All auditions are held at Loma Prieta Room 21.

Mandatory Parent Meeting (Loma Forum)
Thursday November 7 at 6pm

All students are cast.

Rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday right after school from 3:00-6:00 (Wednesdays 1:45-4:45), starting Tuesday, November 12. Rehearsals are in the Loma Prieta Forum unless noted otherwise.
