Theatre in the Mountains

Health and Safety Guidelines

Spring 2025

Theatre in the Mountains is committed to providing a safe environment for our performers, staff, and families. While vaccination for COVID-19, influenza and other infectious diseases is not required, it is highly encouraged for all eligible individuals.

Our health protocols are as follows:

  • Stay Home When Sick: Performers, staff, and volunteers must stay home if they are exhibiting any symptoms of illness or not feeling well. Individuals should notify the producers if they will be missing activities due to illness. Participants who arrive with or develop symptoms at the theater or rehearsal venue will be sent home.

  • Masking: Masks are not currently required. Masks may be required in certain close contact situations such as rehearsals in small confined spaces. Masking guidelines will be adjusted based on infectious disease levels in the community.

  • Hand Hygiene: Frequent hand washing with soap and water as well as use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer is encouraged. Hand sanitizer will be made available in common areas.

  • Collaboration with Health Officials and following school district policy: Theatre in the Mountains will monitor infectious disease conditions and recommendations from local health and school officials and adjust policies accordingly to keep our performers, staff, and families safe.

We follow the guidance and policies of the school district.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and flexibility as we aim to provide outstanding theater experiences for our community while prioritizing health and wellbeing.
