Class Description:
This Broadway-based jazz class is for dancers who want to expand their dance vocabulary and technical skills and get better at learning choreography. This will be taught at an advanced beginning/intermediate level so previous dance or theater experience and knowledge of basic dance steps and turns is expected.
Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes for dance.
Dates:
Classes will be held every Monday beginning April 16, 2018 and ending May 21, 2018 (6 classes) from 3:00PM - 4:15PM in the Loma Prieta Forum. The cost of the class is $100.00. Class size will be capped at 14 students.

Kiyoko Whiteside
A Loma and CT alum (and current Loma parent), Kiyoko currently teaches beginning ballroom dance and recently helped choreograph TIM's "Yellow Submarine." She participated in theater and dance with CMTSJ and Los Gatos High, and studied and performed jazz, tap, ballet, and modern dance at the University of Oregon where she co-founded the university's competitive dance team. In the "real" world, she is a J.Hilburn menswear personal stylist.
